Description:
Lavender Maillette is an exclusive type of French clonal Lavender that is cultivated in a few select provinces of France on sunny mountain slopes at altitudes between 600 and 1700 meters. The Maillette variety of Lavender produces lower yields of very highly concentrated oil which is in very high demand globally. French Maillette Lavender Oil has a distinct "true" classical lavender aroma, very sweet herbaceous floral notes with clear top notes and soft, mild woody undertones, due to its dominant ester, linalyl acetate and a very low camphor content. It is considered one of the most prized Lavender Oils available in today's market, hence its high price compared to other Lavender Oils available. The aroma is notably sweeter than most lavenders and its bouquet makes it a favourite for aromatherapists, in skincare, cosmetics makers and leading perfumers. This oil is non-toxic, non-irritating and non-sensitizing.
