Our given names for our Lavender Oils are only our own subjective reflection of these beautiful oils at this time, we expect everyone to have a different personal preference of which they prefer, which is great. Each Lavender oil has very distinct and unique characteristics compared to the others and the only real way to really know is to experience them for yourself.
During Roman times, lavender flowers were sold for 100 denarri per pound, which was about the same as a month's wages for a farm labourer, or fifty haircuts from the local barber. The French scientist René Gattefossé was the first to discover the healing properties of lavender when he severely burned his hands in a laboratory explosion. Using lavender oil, he noticed a remarkable healing soon afterwards. Lavender essential oil has uses in culinary, cosmetics and medicine. Lavender is used in balms, salves, perfumes, cosmetics, and topical applications.
Vaporizer: Add 10-15 drops to vaporizer to scent the room.
Skin Care: Add 1-2 % (20-40 drops per 100ml) to cream, lotion or body butter for general body application.
Massage: Add 1-2 % (20-40 drops per 100ml) to nakedpress massage oil for general body application.
Bath: Add 5-10 drops to a fully drawn bath, having first mixed the essential oil with an emulsifier like milk or liquid soap.
