Description: Orange Oil is derived from the cold-pressed peel of the fruit of an evergreen tree standing 3-6 meters in height. It is smaller than the bitter orange tree, and less hardy with fewer or no spines. The fruit itself has a sweet pulp with no bitter membrane. More sweet orange oil is produced than any other citrus oil.
Orange has a lively, fruity, sweet aroma. It is used to scent fruity and eau de cologne fragrances. All citrus oils are quick to deteriorate and should be stored in a cool, dry, dark area in full containers.
Orange essential oil has a rich, citrus-like scent that lifts the spirit while providing a calming influence.
Orange brings peace and happiness to the mind.
Massage: As Orange oil relaxes the muscles and nervous system it has been helpful in easing continuous coughing and muscle cramps. It can also help ease inflammation, irritation and pain and soothe swelling associated with arthritis and soft tissue injury.
Orange essential oil can be used in soaps, body lotions, creams, anti-aging and anti-wrinkle products.
Orange oil can prevent any cuts or wounds from becoming septic due to bacterial or fungal infection. It can be effective in helping cure acne and dermatitis.
Haircare: Added to your shampoo or conditioner it can nourish your hair, improving condition and shine.
Homecare: Added to a spray this oil will help eliminate house flies around the home.
Diffuser: Diffused in the office or at home this oil acts as a natural sedative, helping you relax. It is a mood lifter and will help with soothing anger, anxiety, depression and stress. It will also help improve cognitive function.
Caution: Sweet Orange oil (as well as almost all citrus-based oils) can make the skin more sensitive to sunlight. It is strongly advised not to use any citrus-based oil on the skin before going outside in the sun for extended periods of time.
