Description: 
Melaleuca ericifolia is an Australian native tree with its origin in low lying areas of Tasmania and southeast Australia.
This tall, dense, shrub-like tree can grow to 9m in height, likes swampy wetland locations and is commonly called the "swamp paperbark" and has been used medicinally by local Aboriginal people and early Europeans.
Rosalina Oil is the common name given to the essential oil extracted from the steam distillation of the leaves from the Melaleuca ericifolia tree. Rosalina (Melaleuca ericifolia) Essential Oil has a very unique and interesting scent profile, it's a soft, subtle, fresh, slightly citrus scent with hints of Lavender and Tea Tree notes, for this reason, some have also referred to this oil as "Lavender Tea Tree".
This kind of cross-over seems common with Aussie native Essential Oil-producing trees and shrubs, as we see many other variations existing like  "Lemon Scented Tea Tree" for example.
Rosalina's floral scent is a perfect substitute for lavender as it offers the medicinal properties of eucalyptus and the relaxing properties of lavender.

Properties:
Antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, sedative, expectorant. 

Massage:

Skincare: 
As it is rich in antibacterial and antimicrobial properties, Rosalina can help soothe inflamed, red and acne-prone skin. It can be helpful in the treatment of tinea, boils and herpes and infections.

Homecare: 
Rosalina is very effective for cleaning and disinfecting surfaces around the home like kitchen benchtops and bathrooms, leaving behind a lovely lavender-like aroma. Adding a few drops to the vacuum cleaner bag will help remove bad odours from rooms. A few drops added to the mopping bucket water will leave floors clean and the rooms smelling refreshed.
